1 (Matthew 4: 5 - 7) Then the Evil One took him to the holy town; and he put him on the highest point of the Temple and said to him. If you are the Son of God, let yourself go down; for it is in the Writings, He will give his angels care over you; and, In their hands they will keep you up, so that your foot may not be crushed against a stone. Jesus said to him, Again it is in the Writings, You may not put the Lord your God to the test. 2 (John 15: 1) I am the true vine and my Father is the gardener. 3 (Luke 23: 21) But crying out they said, To the cross with him! 4 (Mark 4: 19) And the cares of this life, and the deceits of wealth, and the desire for other things coming in, put a stop to the growth of the word, and it gives no fruit. 5 (John 8: 31) Then Jesus said to the Jews who had faith in him, If you keep my word, then you are truly my disciples; 6 (Luke 24: 30) And when he was seated with them at table, he took the bread, and said words of blessing and, making division of it, he gave it to them. 7 (Luke 23: 34) And Jesus said, Father, let them have forgiveness, for they have no knowledge of what they are doing. 8 (Matthew 21: 14) And the blind and the broken in body came to him in the Temple, and he made them well. 9 (Mark 8: 31) And teaching them, he said that the Son of man would have to undergo much, and be hated by those in authority, and the chief priests, and the scribes, and be put to death, and after three days come back from the dead. 10 (John 10: 16) And I have other sheep which are not of this field: I will be their guide in the same way, and they will give ear to my voice, so there will be one flock and one keeper. 11 (Matthew 5: 9) Happy are the peacemakers: for they will be named sons of God. 12 (Luke 24: 5) And while their faces were bent down to the earth in fear, these said to them, Why are you looking for the living among the dead? 13 (Luke 24: 12) But Peter got up and went to the place where the body had been put, and looking in he saw nothing but the linen cloths, and he went to his house full of wonder at what had taken place. 14 (Matthew 8: 16 - 17) And in the evening, they took to him a number of people who had evil spirits; and he sent the spirits out of them with a word, and made well all who were ill; So that the word of Isaiah the prophet might come true: He himself took our pains and our diseases. 15 (John 12: 25) He who is in love with life will have it taken from him; and he who has no care for his life in this world will keep it for ever and ever. 16 (Luke 23: 43) And he said to him, Truly I say to you, Today you will be with me in Paradise. 17 (Matthew 11: 6) And a blessing will be on him who has no doubts about me. 18 (Mark 15: 26) And the statement of his crime was put in writing on the cross, THE KING OF THE JEWS. 19 (John 13: 14) If then I, the Lord and the Master, have made your feet clean, it is right for you to make one another's feet clean. 20 (Luke 22: 27) For which is greater, the guest who is seated at a meal or the servant who is waiting on him? is it not the guest? but I am among you as a servant. 21 (Matthew 5: 38 - 39) You have knowledge that it was said, An eye for an eye, and a tooth for a tooth: But I say to you, Do not make use of force against an evil man; but to him who gives you a blow on the right side of your face let the left be turned. 22 (Luke 23: 46) And Jesus gave a loud cry and said, Father, into your hands I give my spirit: and when he had said this, he gave up his spirit. 23 (John 14: 1) Let not your heart be troubled: have faith in God and have faith in me. 24 (Mark 15: 39) And when the captain, who was near, saw how he gave up his spirit, he said, Truly this man was a son of God. 25 (John 14: 20) At that time it will be clear to you that I am in my Father, and you are in me, and I in you. 26 (Luke 16: 13) No man may be a servant to two masters: for he will have hate for the one and love for the other; or he will keep to the one and have no respect for the other. You may not be servants of God and of wealth. 27 (John 14: 14) If you make any request to me in my name, I will do it. 28 (Mark 14: 23-24) And he took a cup, and when he had given praise, he gave it to them: and they all had a drink from it. And he said to them, This is my blood of the testament, which is given for men. 29 (Matthew 7: 9 - 10) Or which of you, if his son makes a request for bread, will give him a stone? Or if he makes a request for a fish, will give him a snake? 30 (Luke 19: 5) And when Jesus came to the place, looking up, he said to him, Zacchaeus, be quick and come down, for I am coming to your house today.
