The ZAK Hal Tarxien youth group consists of some 25 members, aged 16 and over, who meet at the Cirkolu San Gwann Bosco (near the parish church) every Monday from 20:00 onwards. The group is also in charge of two parish groups of adolescent girls. The first group (Year 6 to Form 1) meets every Tuesday, while the second group (Form 2 to Form 3) meets on Wednesdays, both from 17:30 to 19:15 at the Cirkolu San Gwann Bosco.  Once every month, this group animates the 10.30 a.m. Sunday mass in the Parish Church.  During the last few years, ZAK Hal Tarxien organised a number of activities, such as:

• a long-term Project "Daily Life Around the Temples" meant to raise local awareness for pre-historic temples situated in Hal Tarxien,
• two Educational Games for youths with the names of "Il-Fenici Holquni" and "Fairyland",
• a number of Live-In Encounters, and
• Animations of the Christmas Novena in the Parish Church.

This group was involved in various activities organised by ZAK Malta such as two seminars which were attended by youths from foreign organisations.  Some of the members in ZAK Hal Tarxien, have even attended for seminars and leadership training courses hosted by foreign countries.
