Anyone who missed out on Monday 28th December, has missed a lot. I believe that it was the best way ever to draw curtains on 2009 and to be set for the surprising, colouring 2010. Having more than 250 participants attending the event proves the enthusiasm of ZAK members to regenerate energy for the prosperous year. As happens each year, it was set off by a Mass where ŻAKkers all unite to make a meaningful end to 2009 by putting Christ at the centre and the means in life. Without this Mass, as Fr. Michael confirmed, nothing ‘real’ would be achieved and it would have been an empty beginning and ending. The ŻAK band did a really great job of keeping the bright atmosphere. After Mass, the seminary hall was ready to meet an awesome crowd of ŻAK people. High-blasting quality speakers, party lighting and glow sticks made the massive night possible. Standing from the dj stand I could see an energized crowd, ready to end 2009 in style and to warm-up for 2010. The glow sticks which where never ever used before in the end of year party, created a beautiful coloured atmosphere with all those hands glowing and moving to the beat. All this would not have been possible without a well coordinated planning team who worked hard to make Colouring 2010 an event that anyone present would ever forget. What a way to start a 2010 ‘Zak year’! Happy New Year 2010 Jeffrick Cachia – ŻAK Ibraġ
