ŻAK Birżebbuġa is just one branch of the ŻAK organisation and has been open since 1998. We organise weekly formation meetings which are based on religious and social themes. These are organised for different age groups. Besides this we organise other activities such as BBQs, hikes, discos, pageants, fundraising activities which includes cakes sales and marathons, and many others. The important thing is that these activities are things which the members enjoy doing. These activities help the members to grow up personally, make friends, learn from each other as well as wrok as a team with other groups, or find help for special problems, all the while enjoying themselves together.

ŻAK Birżebbuġa consists of around 50 members who are split into two age groups. These are a group of 14-16 year olds, a group of 18 years or older. The meeting place as well as the meetings and activities are taken care of voluntarily by a group of leaders whose ages varies between 19 and 26. All the leaders come from various backgrounds but share the same principle - that of helping young people to learn, enjoy themselves and grow up with a good relationship amongst themselves, with God and with their neighbours.

The meetings are held at the ZAK premises which are at number 3, Triq Birżebbuġa, Birżebbuġa (not far from the parish Church and near the HSBC bank in pretty bay). This will be open on:
