ŻAK Ħal Safi

ZAK Safi has been meeting since 2002 when a group of leaders decided to organise a promotion to gather youths from 12 to 15 years of age. The group is not one of the largest ZAK groups in Malta but it has around 13 to 15 members who attend regularly. The meetings are held every Tuesday from 19:15 onwards. The meeting place of the group is in two rooms in the garden of the convent of the nuns living in Hal-Safi. The usual weekly meetings are used to discuss what the members might come across during a normal daily routine but rather than sitting down and talking, we play games from which we can learn. There is plenty of time in which to socialise and get to know each other better. We also organise social activities like bbqs, live-ins, picnics etc.
