Monday meetings
Thursday, 13 November 2008 09:54

What are Monday meetings? The Monday meetings are meetings for the older ZAK members (20+) who do not have a group of their own. This gives us a chance to get together and learn from the guest speakers who are asked to prepare the meetings. The meetings are held on Monday's :-) once every 2 weeks. We meet at ZAK house in B'kara from 20:30 - 22:00. The meetings are held during the scholastic year. Therefore any ZAK member who does not have a group and is 20+ (born in 1988 or before) is welcome to join us for the meetings. The proposed program for this coming year is further down. The program may be changed subject to guest speaker availability.

ZAK Booklet
Friday, 07 November 2008 09:10

Active Youth Booklet ZAK has launched a booklet showing summer in ZAK. Inside one can find photos and write-ups of activities held during the summer. This includes the exchanges and the national activities. There is a little about each ZAK group. There is also a page dedicated to each of the 5 Slovak EVS volunteers who spent the 3 summer months over here. The booklet will be distributed to the older ZAK members by their leaders. Along with the booklet a 2009 year planner will also be distributed.

Three more EVS volunteers
Wednesday, 22 October 2008 23:07
Once again ZAK is going to be hosting EVS volunteers. This time there will be three volunteers who will spend a whole year in Malta. This will give them a good chance to fully integrate within ZAK and therefore they will be able to give a lot of input. The volunteers who will all arrive this week will be residing at ZAK house in B'kara. They will be working with many ZAK groups during the year, but more information will be given in due course. The volunteers will be introduced to the ZAK leaders and members next Sunday during the support group at Siggiewi. I take this opportunity to welcome the three volunteers to Malta and ZAK.

Tuesday, 05 August 2008 13:54

The ZAK B'kara, Iklin, San Giljan exchange has come to a close with a write-up and photos to be online shortly. ZAK Mgarr are currently in the middle of their exchange and ZAK Siggiewi are in the final preparations for their own exchange. ZAK Swatar will shortly be leaving for Slovakia for their own exchange.

Two ZAK centres are working on their own websites and these will be uploaded shortly. Links to the websites will be provided from this website as soon as they are online. The main ZAK website is also undergoing changes which are being put online in steps. The first of which is this layout change you can see right now, with banners on the side showing current events and the daily thought, and updates and news on the right. Changes for the new logo will occur in due course.
