RAIN DAMAGE CAUSED BY FLOOD WATERS

Due to the flooding of Monday the 15th September, the premises which ZAK uses for various activities sustained damage which must be repaired.

In these premises in B'Kara, many preparation meetings for national and local activities are held. Besides this the premises are also used for live-ins by various ZAK centres where the participants are able to experience non-formal activities. Special attention is given during these activities highlighting a life away from vices while help is given so that the participants can develop their skills, both for their own good and also for that of Maltese society in general.

Repairs required in the ZAK national centre in B'Kara include changing of tiles which were pulled up by the water. ZAK persons responsible for the repairs are concerned that this might happen again and therefore the repairs must be carried out in such a way so as to prevent more damage of a similar nature.
